I am planning to expand my long-haul flight list on my low-cost airline. What is the best aircraft to use?

Low Cost, Long Haul is risky territory, but I find the 787-8 fits the bill pretty well in a relatively high density Norwegian-style config thanks to it's low fuel usage.

If you're at an earlier point in the game, the B763ER tends to be the one. I find the A330's too large if you're going low cost.

Use Concordes like a man

Using Tu-144s would be insane, though.

Nope. I think you should have both

Get the A330-300 and B767-300ER

I recomand the 787. A real life example would be Scoot,a Singapore based medium to long haul LCC which operates a fleet of 787s. ;)

Which is a bad idea, if you want to keep your cost base as low as possible, required for a LCC, you want to be using a single aircraft family if possible, can cut up to $10 million out of your maintenance costs alone per month, let alone the extra staff needed.

When your airline get big, what are you going to do? 300 A330-300s? With 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 cash in hand doing nothing?

I am very thankful for all your comments. I already acknowledge the risk of going long-haul and the utilization of A330 because I use the model of Cebu Pacific. But I learned that 767-300ER is a good idea too.
