First of all I'm glad about all of the interest you all have in improving the AE community.
As I've said in the initial post, if you wanna be a mod come talk to me. The idea is to get a group of people all interested in being mod and come to Yuxi with a plan.
So I'll say this again in a way that can't really be skimmed over in this thread.
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING FOR MODERATOR DUTY, SEND ME A MESSAGE AND WE CAN GET THE BALL ROLLING. THIS THREAD IS NOT THE PLACE TO VOLUNTEER.
Just like to again, remind those who are interested in doing their part, please contact stevphfeniey. Don't post that your interested here.

While the object of this thread is clear discussion of wanting or needing more moderators to overlook fellow AE users on the forums and/or chat, I believe some people are using this thread to perhaps bring up certain issues with others or making comment unwarranted in this thread.
Therefore, for the mean time, this thread will be locked, but still view able for the AE community.
UPDATE: I have now clean the thread from the unnecessary comments that some users have provided and thus reopened the thread, for friendly and constructive criticism, in regards to this topic.
Can i just add my 2 cents, while asking for more moderators may be deemed by many as a necessity and requirements for the continual function of the AE forums and chat, please let it be known that no every tom, dick and harry is capable of being a mod. Whoever does get nominated to became a moderator in the short or long term (all dependent on yuxi), needs to be someone, that the community as a whole respects and trusts in authority.

Absolutely, I think this thread is more about finding out who is willing to put their time into being a moderator, which is an important part of Being a mod in itself. Of course, once Yuxi knows whos willing to be a moderator, he can go through and figure who is trustworthy and respectable enough to actually be a mod.

This is actually a good suggestion.

I would presume the same. My comments were instantly classified to be deleted, Why? I wonder that myself too.

Not to flatter your ego, but i deemed your comment to be unwarranted and unnecessary to the conversation of this thread.
I would presume the same. My comments were instantly classified to be deleted, Why? I wonder that myself too.
And in your instance, i deemed your comments to be too much appealing to someone trying to simulate being a moderator which again, is not warranted and unnecessary.
Again, i repeat, comments that are unwarranted or unnecessary that i see across any AE thread on this forums, will be deleted. Have a great day and dont be afraid to post!

There are so many airlines that I would kick out if I could, they just don't play the game realistically. If it's called a realistic world, there should be moderators enforcing the realism, so they could go through every airline and see if they have anything spammy, each day they find something spammy, the airline gets a warning point, after 3 warning points, they should be kicked out of the world.
I don't know about you guys but I feel like it would feel like more of an accomplishment if you got rank one by being realistic instead of spammy. Spammers just care about winning and nothing else which would not make it the number one airline in the world because no one would want to freaking fly on it. If there is a spam line with a low reputation, and a realistic airline with a high reputation, at the same price, the pax should chose the airline with the higher reputation no matter the number of flights, but this doesn't happen.

I think it's amazing that this thread starts out about wanting more moderators. then changes to something like evaluating moderators. then
get's something like sanctioned by a moderator. then a complete thread change to game airline realism.
what gives?
it's like the very people who want things like more moderators, and wanting moderators being more stern with their forum
powers.
these same people purposely test the moderators and their resolve, and all, just because they can.
