So one of the most popular cars in it's respective segment, the Volkswagon Golf does around 5.7L/100km in the 92TSI Manual specifications.

 

The Ford Mondeo, a default car for businesspeople since forever, does 8.2L/100km in the Ambiente hatch specification

 

The Holden Commodore, one of the most popular large cars in Australia does 8.3L/100km in the Evoke 6 speed Auto specification.

Why don't you guys like modern cases like 4WD and sport cars. They are quite nice

I agree with buy american. I love GM. But sports cars like the corvette are actually pretty great.

A version of the Suzuki Celerio claims 78mpg. And apparently 60 is realistic. Also doesn't look all that bad in my opinion :P 

 

I kinda like it. Shame Suzuki has such a poor image outside of India and Japan <_<

I can't access that site - and' it's in french. We don't have Suzuki in the US - they killed their brand here, because they never released any new models, so people lost interest and they withdrew from the american market.
