What are your favorite planes that most other players in most worlds don't bother buying? :D

ATR :P

And Tu-204's for the most part, they are rather cheap alternatives to the A321 and 739ER

The Sukhoi Superjets.

Don't get me wrong, the Superjets are just absolute beautiful short range jetliners! Sure, they can't go over 2,000 miles, but having them based in a hub like Oklahoma City, they can do fairly well for covering the US from the center of the country. I personally prefer the Superjets over the Bombardier C-Series.

How do you mean SSJ can't go over 2,000 mi? :) Not the basic model but SSJ100-95LR can reach almost 3,000 mi in multi-class config. Anyway, yeah, great one. I always choose them when I have small airlines in non-western countries in modern worlds, they can do awesome job.

The plane that could best compare is E190 (we miss the AR version here), Bombardier CS (I'd also count them as one of these neglected planes) is kinda more competing with bigger planes, E195, 737-7 and A319.

747-100

most people go for the 747-200B or C, but the -100 hase a short takeoff length of 7400ft! it's very useful.

I did a mistake by not considering 747-100 and thats why i'm not able to fly to many airports in Europe. :|

Hard to say - there's a plane for every occasion. Right now (1973) I think the underestimated ones are Dassault Mercure or Caravelle 12 :) In the end depending how the game evolves you kind of addapt your shopping portfolio with whatever is being produced at that time. Even Concordes and Tu-144 can be used wisely ;)

YS-11. Even though not so many players purchase them, but YS-11 is definetely great aircraft for island-hoping and short intercity with intermediate demand routes like in Indonesia. Note that YS-11 minimum runway length also acceptable by almost all airports in Indonesia. Have 110 units of YS-11 in my fleet and will be replaced by Q400 in 1990's.

Other A/c's are 747-100. Even though the range are lesser than 742B, its quite useful to use in routes that have great demand but its runway are not capable to accomodate 742B or DC10-30 or to serve short routes that have great demand but you don't have so many flight slots there. Have about 25 units in my airline to supplement existing 742B.

The Mercure has way to short of a range, but i agree that the caravelle 12 is good

The An 24 is arguably better than the F27. The An 24 has slightly better performance (greater speed, smaller fuel flow, greater range) but also has a bit higher runway req and carries on 52 people compared to the 56 seats of the 27. I had 30 An 24s and they were some superb aircraft. I have kept them for about 30 years before replacing them with the Q300, which was another exceptional aircraft.

The 737-300 is a great plane; the MD83 is also great too.
