Least profitable are the Supersonic aircraft. Most profitable is probs Canadair CL-44. Jets are much less profitable than turboprops,

DC-10-10 are quite profitable for jet aircraft. Although they have lack of range.

Least: Tu-144. Full stop.

Most: Ilyushin Il-18 for props, Boeing 747-100 for LR jets, and tie between 727-200 and Tu-154M for SR/MR jets.

Order Concordes if you're not a wimp. Tu-114s and CL-44s are for children who can't fight for themselves. Also, it's been scientifically proven that using those planes makes your penis disappear.

By all means, use what you will, just remember the consequences.

The  Brittania turboprop  is profitable too ,   The Lockheed L188,   also.  Turboprops rule that time period.

Earlier on, I found the Bristol Brittania was very profitable, w/ acceptable range too.
