I look at my main page, and I have nearly $100,000,000 in credit... but can I buy aircraft with it, or even buy gates? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
I know this has been discussed 8 billion times, but I really hope when the reset comes along, credit will have a useful function.

Credit is useless and will remain so especially as its simply an equation fo 1/5 your value. Nothing more.

It might be something for a future feature perhaps? Perhaps it can be used to determine how many aircraft you can lease or how much you can loan from creditors/banks or perhaps the maximum amount of shares (Value) you can issue etc.

It is under the "Financial Data" column on the left-hand side of the page. I have a red box around it on the image below.

My understanding:
credit will always be useless, it will be removed when miller/wrench gets a chance. It will eventualy be replaced by a bank that makes actauly loans you $$$$.

If you take the time to read the Chat Transcript, you will see that any NEW inprovements will be held over to be included in the NEW version, so one would think that in the event of any reset, it will be WYSIWYG.
