Logos?

I'm not sure if it's just my eyes, but I have always wondered why logos always had the lighting to make it darker, and sometimes more grainy on AE. Can someone explain why this is? For comparison, I've provided one of my logos below. The darker one if the one on AE, and the lighter one if the original one.

This is due to the conversion algorithms AE employs when converting your logo to JPEG and stored on their servers.

Yep, JPEG compression will do that.
