So I lost my Mall Tycoon 3 disk and can't play it anymore now. So I decided to make a online mall roleplay thing. So some basic rules/definitions:

 

• Your mall must include at least 1 anchor store and can have a maximum of 8 anchor stores

 

          -Anchor store: "In retail, an anchor store, draw tenant, anchor tenant, or key tenant is one of the larger stores in a shopping mall, usually a department store or a major retail chain. Common examples of anchor stores include Macy's, Dillard's, Sears, JCPenney,Nordstrom, Belk, Lord & Taylor, Von Maur, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Past examples include Montgomery Ward, Mervyns, Eaton's, Lazarus, Foley's, Marshall Field's, and Sanger-Harris."

 

• The mall layout should be simple. There is only one rule for layout. All the stores must be connected by an interior hallway. Strip malls are NOT allowed.

 

         -Layouts can be in shapes of letters like "L", "W", "I", "X" etc.

• Work in progress: Maybe later Google Maps could used the mark the location of your mall. 

 

• As far as the management part goes, we'll see later. To participate draw up a mall, post it, and give a brief description

The mall is Stile @Long Island.

 

Stile is Italian for Style, and features 4 anchors:

-Walmart, which boasts 15,500 square meters of space

-Macy's, which has two floors and 8,000 square meters of space

-Sears, which has five thousand meters of space, and

-SM Department Store, one of the most popular department stores, in the Philippines, and has 6,500 square meters of space.

 

Aside from these anchors, we also have the 1,000 square meter branch of the Home Depot, and a 750 meter branch of Toys R us. We also have a Cyberzone which boasts 25 tenants, and our food court, which has 35 tenants.

 

We also have a 16 cineplex, and a sprawling 15,000 square meter Convention Center. This mall is also transport convenient since it is connected to the Jamaica Station of the LIRR( I put it at 2F, and is connected to the rest of the island, and as well to the JFK airport.

Pretty sure they have a policy of only standalone? Or in strip malls that they own.
