Greetings.
An emergency notice of Anglo's temporary seizure of operation was sent to GMI
members in R1 a short while ago.
"KAI ANGLO INTERNATIONAL HAS CEASED TRADING IN R1 AS OF 1 JAN 1962.
This is due to Financial insecurity leading to the sezure of a number of aircraft due to
5 years of constant loss-making operation.
Anglo is considering restarting trading should someone be found to restructure the company
and continue operations with its small fleet of owned De Havilland Comet 4C aircraft.
IF NEW MANAGEMENT IS NOT APPOINTED BY JUNE 1962, ANGLO AND HENCEFORTH
GMI WILL CEASE OPERATION AND CLOSE IN R1 PERMANENTLY."
________________________________
Anglo has now been cleared of debt and has £20 million capital.
Anglo has a fleet of 5 De Havilland 4C OWNED aircraft.
This is a great opportunity to manage a ready airline with a solid brand.
This would gain automatic entry into GMI if you are appointed.
Thanks,
Kai
