I first built 90 gates at DFW in around 1956 or 1957, and then i recently built another 90 gates at ATL.

The weird thing that happen is that the monthly cost differences for the 2 airport are way too high. You can see it in the picture that DFW monthly cost me more than $2,203,931 while ATL which have higher monthly gate cost, only cost me around $342,352. Is it normal or there is some error on it?

And? The demand wasn't big back then, so don't do massive frequencies.

Demand for ATL-ORD are over 4000 economy demand per day, the other domestic routes range between 1500 to 3000, if i have B777 or 747 i could press down the gate requirement by 80%

In 1958 4000 people a day didn't want to fly that route.

I would hazard a guess that something is awry with DFW's gate payment calculation. It shouldn't cost $2.2 million per gate when you've got a terminal built.

I actually misread the graphic. ATL is too low, it should be higher. You're looking at total costs, not cost per gate.
