whenever I try to pull up the route map it never loads and it is really frusturating because it is hard for me to pick where I want my planes to fly, any help would be appreciated.

The alliance map won't work if your alliance is big, but the route map should. Also, the "browse airports" button is much better at finding airports to fly your planes to than the route map (it sorts by demand).

You have two simple airlines, both in the negative valuations. An airline that small shouldn't have such a big route map that the browser can't load.

Google Chrome is better. I recommend you download that (telling the OP).

Google Chrome is the best out of the three big browsers (Mozilla, Chrome, and IE). The alliance maps stop working after the first 4 years or so because the airlines get too big.
