At City Group, we have noticed that there is a lack of quality Northern Irish airlines. Therefore, Derry Air, Northern Ireland's flag carrier, will begin services on 1 January 1975. We will provide quick, sleek and high class connections to Ireland, the UK, Continental Europe and further afield.
Our fleet will feature the Boeing 707, Boeing 737, BAC 1-11 and Beech Bonanza from 1975. In 1976 we have been ordered to buy Short 330s and 2 Skyvans, subsidised by the UK government.

Derry Air Executive willl also be established, from 1 January 1975. The airline will fly BAC 1-11s, Aerospitale Caravelles, Short Skyvans (from Derry Air), Aerospitale SN.601s and Dassault Mercures. The airline will fly to central locations in European cities.
