I'm not making any accusations. I am sure there is a logical explanation but I was wondering if anyone knew what that explanation was.

I posted the same question a while ago only about another airline. The answer was that the database screwed up by some people and therefor making a duplicate airline.

well first off, two similar names can be common because until u actually register for the game, you cant see the names of other current airlines. (i good example is me. i signed up as "SkyOne~ airways", not knowing that there was already a "SkyOne" established until after i logged in.)
with both being based in Tampa, it could just be a coincedence. (another example is when i had a focus city in Seattle, and competed on about two-three routes with SkyOne.
just my 2 cents;)

Come on people... use a little common sense.
Two airlines created very far apart in time(look at id numbers), two completely different people. One spells it using a space, and one spells it as one word.
It is just conincedent that they both wound up in Tampa. If they were the same people, then they would be taking market share away from each other. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense now does it?

Yo, the original JetAmerica here. I'm the one that's #1 at TPA. ID 4803.
I have no idea why this person chose the same as me, or chose the same base as me. But I assure you that we are completely seperate. It wouldn't make alot of sense to have two airlines both at the same airport and competing with each other.
If you notice, I'm JetAmerica (no space) and he is Jet America (with a space).
Although I had a feeling this thread would come up at some point.

As I figured, just a coincidence. Once again, I hope you don't think I was trying to make accusations.
Thanks for the reply.
