I suck at the game, but here is the Vasa l, my first vessel, goal is to get into orbit and return

 

 

Liftoff went smoothly, except for the boosters almost crashing into eachother because of having no struts, it goes along smoothly

 

 

And finally in orbit, I call mission success, but I fear Bob, Jebediah and Halrim is staying up there for a while.

Y'all seem to be really into docking, I managed to dock twice manually but MechJeb is much much nicer.

 

Even with that I still go direct. Everywhere.

How do you people even get these things to space without spiraling them and control them? I have a hard time controlling them and my aircraft spirals.

You actually can turn with it, and you should indeed support Squad by purchasing the game and aiding the development of KSP into the future instead of pirating everything...

Agre, is that station using stock KSP parts?

How do I turn with it? My rocket does nothing on my advanced ASAS(other than go straight). I didn't pirate it. I'm stuck with the demo currently. Once I get the orbit in demo then maybe purchase.

The demo is only on version .17 of the game, which is before they fixed SAS.

Oh, I guess then I'm buying the full version then because I could easily get into orbit if I could turn with the SAS.

 It's not stock, the parts come from the Kerbin Shuttle Orbiter mod

So this is the new Corps of Discovery (more or less, construction has been halted because of a bug that causes the ship's reactors to violently shake then explode), specifically its twin fusion powered VISTA Deuterium/Tritium Inertial Fusion engines. They're both angled slightly off axis to increase the standoff distance between the crew modules (to be docked later) and the highly radioactive exhaust gasses (every little bit hurts, I'm putting shielding on later). Both engines are attached to a central utility module that has a backup nuclear reactor to provide triply redundancy in case of a reactor failure in deep space. The utility module also contains primary comms and backup heat radiators to prevent critical reactor failure.

 

Below that is the first of three main truss sections that link the drive unit to the crew and cargo sections, on it are experiments that will be exposed almost directly to the radiation given off by the engine exhaust. This ship is designed to work more or less like a tractor-trailer or a train (engines up front pulling the payload behind) to reduce flexing during burns and weight requirements (less reinforcement is needed).

So after some ****ing around with save files, eventually scrapping an entire save game, and starting from scratch. This is the more or less completed Corps of Discovery. 

 

Standardized containers deliver men and material to the surfaces of planetary bodies. That particular container (the first of six to be docked to the ship) is a hab module configured for an extended presence on Vall.
