In this world you can only fly the 737-200/300/400/500/600/700/800/900 and the A318 and A319.
Hubs can be opened any where in the world.

If you're allowing large 737NGs (-800 and -900), why not the A320 and A321? This pretty much limits you to Boeing as there's a lot bigger size difference between the 737-700 and -900, but not much size difference between the A318 and A319.
Also, the A318 is pretty pointless of an aircraft (like the 737-700) as it's so small but has the high operating costs of a full plane to operate, as opposed to 717's and E-jets which are far cheaper to operate in the same size range. This is why there were so few A318's built and why Frontier has returned theirs.

Good point
You can fly from London City airport to JFK by 318, Business class only, 32 seats//beds. Stops at Shannon on the way out to refuel and clear US customs / Immigration. No stop on the return leg which is overnight. Usually two flights each way a day. The best way. from London to New York. Shame you cannot recreate this in AE.
It would be nice (I live a couple of miles from Shannon. Hopefully the AE4 timetabling and formatting changes will enable this to happen

That would be nice, but now you can go direct. (A318s now have ~3300 mile range)

they still pay me a visit at SNN though
not sure what the demand would be for London City - Shannon business class only.they still pay me a visit at SNN though

Well I know it would not be realistic really but just for the sake you could do LCY-SNN 1x weekly and then go from SNN to New York on a more frequent basis
Well Shannon is a fraction of what it used to be. When I started in 2011 there were 4,000,000 passengers. Now 1,400,000.

I is on the up. Me and a couple of others have a job there (a very part-time job) and we have noticed the passenger numbers increasing and there's more of a buzz about the place. Now that it's the height of winter there is pretty much nobody only the flights to England and the odd US one but overall there has been an increase
