If they add premium economy, they should use the economy demand on routes. I think if they premium economy, they only should make tickets a bit more expensive.

The premium economy market is a very small one, hence the low number of seats installed on any single aircraft. "a bit" probably isn't the right word either. W tickets are something like double an economy ticket. The current AE ticketing system in general needs an overhaul imo: Current F prices should be for J, current J for W

That depends on where you are. Some carriers treat economy plus as a different class of service, and for others it's still economy class but with more legroom. In the latter case, the price to "upgrade" to economy plus is 5-30% of the economy fare (and free for frequent flyer elites).

In any case, AE 4 will differentiate between domestic first class and international business and first class, among other ticketing changes.

I agree on this topic. Let's try to add a new class called "Premium Economy".

It's IATA code is the letter "P". It boosts more legroom than the regular Economy Class and Budget Class.
