actually with the nimrod fleet, could probably hack engines from that... :whistling:

Well thats the main problem with AE, despite the fact that we mostly make our own choices, we are still restricted somewhat to what real airlines have done, because if De Havilland had actually sold 500 comets, theres a good chance they'd still be around today, producing new aircraft. Also, the main thing that annoys me about old aircraft is people receiving deliveries of new 707s in 2008 because they ordered thousands of them back in 1970.

There should also be an introduction of the degrading of the interior and IFE of aircraft, in that old interiors become worn with use, and IFE systems become outdated as better quality screens and software is introduced. No airline interior that was considered amazing in the 80s or 90s would be considered that today, so maybe you'd also need to refurbish the interiors or else you would suffer a reputation drop
