But seriously, the early year games are pretty much barren when it comes to short haul and regional aircraft, and with 1100 of the Convair 240 and its variants, methinks it's a pretty big hole that needs to be filled (unlike the MD-11ER, but that's another matter).

Please note that the 580, 600 and 640 are equipped with Allison turboprops, just noting. Also, I just remembered that the Martin 202/404 exist, and these are in the same boat as the Convair, also I believe Ilyushin had something like these as well, can't think of it. Alright, that should be it.
