When I was looking at the American Airlines home page homepage I found a A380 in AA livery.

Sure it's not the A300?
Firstly, it has 4 engines. Secondly, it's got a main landing gear that's much too large to belong to an A300. Thirdly, the angle of the wing is different. Fourthly, it's much too tall to be an A300. Fifthly, you can just make out 2 lines of windows on 2 differing levels, suggesting that there are 2 decks, as opposed to just the 1 deck that an A300 possesses.
I was most likely an a380 before this photo was edited but they just put it in there livery so they don't advise any other airline. As you look you will see that all the other planes have the AA livery. And AA a300 have no been flying with American since 2009

That's a lot to extrapolate from such a fuzzy photo.
It's really me, now. #backtoAE

It has 4 clear engines and the A380 esque wing joint and landing gear - among many, many other things. If you see that as an A300 I suggest not calling yourself an aviation enthusiast.
I'll give you the four engines, but there really isn't enough clarity to clearly define much else. I concede that it's not anything like an A300, however, I simply just don't think there's enough clarity in the photo to make such a definitive answer.

Maybe it's an MD-12
The MD-12 look ugly the a380 is much nicer
i say the 737MAX copied the MD12 winglets
Yeah but MD's work on the MD-12 probably got purchased by Boeing.
