Hence why steve said it might be a bit early.... FWIW, the DC-3 end production in 1950 and yet it is still in game

Well info from Wiki cannot be used...and it is preferred to give some info ahead of time for the Data Collectors but in this case where it is only wiki, and known plane they will find sources themselves. Wiki is more of an issue when it is controversial of whether or not  a plane had commercial service or not and they only give wiki.

Just for the record, I looked into the aircraft and decided it would a good addition to the game. All data that will actually be used to put it into the game will be corroborated away from wikipedia.
