Depends, personally I'm a fan of both. In previous airlines I've run, I've been able to operate both the 73G and the CS300XT at almost the same profit levels. The 73G offers 500nm more range, and tends to be more suited for medium/semi-longhaul legs. On the other side of the fence, I found the 300XT to be more economical in the short/mediumhaul legs. In reality, they're both very well performing aircraft, and with some finetuning they can really complement each other. Of course if you're looking for ONLY one type, I'd suggest the 737-700, since you'd then have the ability to add the -700ER and be able to operate two variants of the same type that can run a wide range of routes economically.

I would stick with the Boeing if you have the 738/739

Boeing 737-600/700   (Though I prefer the Boeing 737-500)
