i already play this almost exclusively on my iphone but yes an app would make it easier to use. so id be all for it.

i only use my Samsung Gio to play on AE, and i hate the mobile site, that's why I asked for an app that could work on every droid from 2.2 and beyond, and for all iOS devices 
Yes, the mobile site is awful, I am starting to develop one myself...
well, once you get it, put it on Google Play and App Store for us

The game pages are the same, but the web site and forums appear differently.

Well of course I know we have one (for the forums) - it was meant to be a sarcastic remark. I'll see what I can do to improve the mobile experience for the forum.
For AE itself, AE 4 will have a mobile-friendly interface accesible via the web app. It will be designed for phone screens (not an afterthought) and will work on all platforms. I have no plans for native iOS/Android/Windows Phone apps because we simply don't have the development resources for that.
