I am trying to make a simple access database of distance of each city in AE from my hub. Right now I manually enter the reading in the db after checking the "distance calculator" but thats very tedious and boring. Can any programming guru suggest me a more automated method?

Why I need it? Well I have an excel sheet on aircraft yeild curve so superimposing the two I get the best DoP for that city and my hub. It kind of becomes a very good ready recokoner. So I can progress from nearest to the most further city from my hub and make tons of virtual moolah!

One can recall that a player did an excel sheet to do this but not sure who it was.

It was before this re-set was performed so look in the search field.

There exists no database for distance in Ae. It is all calculated.

Ah! Thanks Miller. Is it possible that at you can give a command which will generate this output in a flat file-distance of all the cities from a particular city. Right now I have to see individually each one in the distance calculator and then write down in my Db which is boring.

Those of you who trust me enough to run a .exe file from me might be interested in downloading a program I made.

For screenshot and download link, see http://www.airlineem...ad.php?tid=4421.

Oops, I never caught gate prices being wrong. Well fixed that now, download http://bea.xmgfree.c...ySearcher03.zip instead.

Masscop and others: You'll probably need to download Visual Basic runtimes from Microsoft. A direct link is http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en.

Just remember that the distance in that program is NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT correct, so double check before ordering gates.
