NO... that would be hell for those with big airlines. Profits would be slashed during the winter

Deal with it?
Anyway, AE already does this. It's just that the server's so slow that it's not even relevant.

This would be a problem for ALL airlines, big or small to be honest, so no no
This is already done. And I like it. On some routes I can reduce frequencies in the winter and increase in summer to make the airline more realistic.

It could be hell for small airlines if they are in competition.
Imagine small airline S and big airline B compete during high demand. B cuts prices on the route to gain market share. Then demand drops. S has to cut prices to keep profitable. B can then price match to regain market share, but still be able to make a little money as B has economies of scale. Demand then increases, but B keeps prices low (as it only ever matches lowest price).
I think small airline S will find this hard to live with.

IF a slower game was introduced, then I would completely support this, but at the current game speed I would not want this.

The way the game currently functions ruins this.
If we could actually schedule, it would be cool, but logging on to find every route at 50% loadfactor is not a fun idea. If we could pre-plan to halve our flights however...
How about when we get time timetables we an schedule for winter & summer demand (double to the time )

I do like this idea... I wonder if yuxi will implement it in AE4
