NEW YORK CITY-
Bonjour, nous sommes appelés Vol Air Lines, and we are proud to become the latest member of Excel Alliance. Vol's primary hub at Paris's Charles de Gaulle Airport serves as an excellent compliment to alliance hubs in London, Zurich and Madrid, stepping up the alliance's connectivity in Western Europe. The airline continues to grow into France's premier airline, hoping to expand into long-haul markets and enter codesharing partnerships with fellow Excel Alliance members, the first ones expected to be forged with British Imperial, Suisse and Iberia to strengthen Excel's European network.
The airline has been groomed as a potential member of Excel since North American Airlines announced its plan to expand flights out of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, planning on making it its primary gateway to Europe from America. Vol Air Lines compliments North American's network of five American cities with a greater network of European destinations. NAA expects to become one of Vol's closest codesharing partners. Chinese alliance member Dynasty Airlines is in talks with the French government to being flights to Paris from Shanghai, connecting the world's fastest growing economy with one of the hearts of European business.
