FSX Shutting down Midflight? BS!

Recently, today, when I was flying a POSKY Cathay 777-300ER from VHHH to KLAX, I expected some sort of unusual error with my Gold Edition of FSX. Here is what happened,
First thing is first, I plan a flight from Hong Kong to Los Angeles. I choose a Cathay 777 by POSKY, because I'm epic like that.
Second, after all the Airplane and UT2 complications at Hong Kong, I finally lift off, and it is a very pleasant flight from that point.
Third, three hours later, my FSX freezes, and closes. I was to least expect that to happen.
(I was pretty pissed, because I forgot to save in mid-flight too. )
So, if you got any solutions or comments, post em below, and you'll be rewarded.

I get this problem after about 30 minutes of flying and then trying to see other active aircraft, FSX just dies and stops working.

A lot of things can cause these crash-to-desktop issues...my suspicion would be a bad addon or conflicting addons. I have no real solutions to offer other than trying them alone one by one

Try to replicate the issue- flying around the area of the CTD at the same time/day of week.
If you can do that, try using process monitor to work out what file Is causing the CTD - Most likely its a corrupt texture.

Putting UIAutomationCore.dll in your FSX main folder will probably solve the CTD you're having.

I once added an autogen mod and my FSX crashed, and it wouldn't work, so when I got the thing out and tested it (flew san francisco-new york), had no probs. Yesterday I flew San Francisco-London without having to save.

I got the same problem flying even on a short hop from Ottawa to Montreal with the Bundesrepublik Deustchland A340-300. That's when my fsx.cfg went missing.
