And I'm in United Virtual Airlines, which forces you to follow and practice proper operating procedures before you can qualify to fly bigger aircraft for VA flights. They also provide a good amount of training materials to enable you to do that, so if you're a "serious" flight simmer it's a great community to be a part of.

Yes, if you want to be as realistic as possible, UVA provides plenty of training and help from the community. You start at the smallest class of aircraft and take checkrides to get new type ratings (6 in total) for other aircraft. For a checkride, you basically fly and record (using a provided FS addon) a prescribed flight (different for each level of checkride) and send it in to be evaluated by a check pilot, who will either approve you for the new type rating and/or give you suggestions on what you need to fix.

I think he means fly together Nexus what happens is.
- Sign up to VA
- Pick a schedule
- Fly the schedule in FS (on your own)
- Fill in flight report
