I have a better, more "modern" question. Will the debris field of comet ISON destroy Earth or will it just give mankind a really spectacular meteor shower?
Is the world ending in 2012?

I think this one pretty valid. They don't have the exact date, but they have prediction for the rapture, which will be on Jewish Feast of Trumpet.

Didn't see anything mid-January hinting to the existance of comet ISON's debris field and it looks like the world is still alive and kicking
Now, all we need to worry about for now is the Yellowstone super volcano.
