Gun law wise, I think the gun laws are perfectly safe ONLY by responsible people which are the majority of people. Only very few go and kill other people with firearms.
Fact is what drives people to kill other people?

Gun control always seems strange to me.
When you have the UK, where there is currently (i think) rather strict gun control, its easy-ish to enforce, because guns are not widely spread.
In America, however. Since its your right to own a gun, guns are owned by far more people, and suddenly going "okay give us the guns so we can get rid of them" would probably not be effective.
That's not to say either the UK or US is superior, its just how things seem to me.
Wisconsin just introduced a conceal and carry permit option for those who want to carry a gun... Are you kidding me?
