Well it's understandable that people are unfriendly when you only see the sun 22 hours a month :whistling:

I'm told Venice is boring. London, Barcelona and Munich are brilliant though. Honestly, Paris was a bit of a let down.

The issue with London is where in London you go...that can be the difference from amazing trip to disastrous.

Amsterdam.

Our capital is full of history, culture , canals and famous canal houses. At the same time it also got a very modern side and great public transport facilities.

Always glad to be back in Amsterdam. ^_^

Amsterdam.

Our capital is full of weed, sexy Dutchmen and brothels. At the same time it also got a very modern side and great public transport facilities.

Always glad to be back in Amsterdam. ^_^

Although I've only been to the UK and Norway, I particularly liked Bergen. I was there during the Tall Ships Race but I loved how there was a lot of culture there, with parades and stuff. But who knows it might be s*** outside of the race.

I liked driving through the English countryside en route to Harry Potter Studios, but I don't think an hour is enough to judge a place.

I liked London's landmarks and stuff, and part of this might be just me, but there was trash everywhere, it was crowded, and because of the high prices and difficult road system we were basically marching around the whole time bar 5 or so subway trips, a bus ride, and a taxi ride. Which was not enough.

I also visited Europe during a heatwave (norway was hottest country north of spain) so maybe my negative experiences were compounded by it. Like how I hated the Underground without suitable A/C.

Also after a 8-hour delay in the middle of Norway due to a broken rail or something at night, that pretty much killed off any of the positive stuff I thought of the towns en route to Oslo

Quick question about geography.

In what country is Detroit part of?

Answered? Good. Time for a follow-up question.

What continent is that country part of?

Answered that? Good! Another follow-up question.

What is the name of this topic?

Deutschland Deutschland Uber Alles!

Specifically, the Lower Saxony town of Gottingen, where I was lucky enough to spend 1 week in 2010.

Tsjenobyl and Pripyat.

It looks really cool. I am really intrested in abondoned cities/villages, although it's a shame what happened over there in 1986.

You know, I'm the last person to think a joke or something is going too far, but you really need to stop it with the 9/11 and Holocaust jokes, after you make them 600 times its not funny anymore.
