I see oyur point but I was more speaking along the lines of a smaller game like Airport Empires how usually the mods and developers act as both.

Today I found my will to work hard again...so I got rolling. Today I plan to work on the things nessicary to the first realse of the slots and contracts system.

On the beta version of the game, all the airports will have updates in the background to enable runway length and gate finder scripts to function without flaw. I will also begin to code some slot finders hopefully, if not work on trying to see whats wrong with the build page in Firefox, however it does currently work in Chrome.

Wheels...are starting to turn again. ;)

 

This week's new stuff will be Tinworkx related, not directly linked to APE itself. I'll let you work out what's up...or check out the Tinworkx Facebook/Twitter for hints and stuff.

 

There has been a dev update to APE itself to add a set of new game tiles and fix minor bugs aswell as build page theme updates. These are awaiting tobe sent to the beta version, no date set. The minor update may also include the vital airport details (runway length...etc) that will in turn trigger the final phase of development on the contracts system.

One Way Drop-Off (two lanes in one direction)
One Way Drop-Off start/end (two lanes in one direction)
One Way Drop-Off start/end Up Start (two lanes in one direction)
One Way Drop-Off start/end Down Start (two lanes in one direction)
 
Left-Right (horizontal)
Taxiway Bridge (over road)
Taxiway Bridge (over one way road)
Runway Bridge (over road)
Runway Bridge (over one way road)
One Way Road (two lanes in one direction)
One Way Drop-Off (two lanes in one direction)
One Way Drop-Off start/end Left Start (two lanes in one direction)

That's a little too detailed for the stage that the game is in currently. I assume that Tintin will not be able to add tiles like that until the distant future. However the idea of bridges over roads have already been suggested and could be added sometime in the future, I don't know that however. :P

I only see stuff that complex being added when the dragging tool is developed. being able to drag a taxiway over a road is much easier than plopping a tile for it.
