what really worries me is that it has been 3 737's in the last while. then again 2 of them were ancient and not exactly in mint condition

Another thing, my Girlfriend was on a Ryanair flight from France to Frankfurt Hahn yesterday. Apparently it was pretty foggy, and hit the runway with the front gear first. Than with the right maingear and than the left. She said she was not even sure if the landed on the runway or partly on the gras. Everyone was screaming and in the end even the F/As were crying. Anyways, how can such a thing happen. I mean, usually Aircrafts should be able to land automatically, or does that not work at Hahn?!

Even with the older aircraft, you can not entirely blame the plane. With a few exceptions, most incidents are caused or exacerbated by an inexperienced flight crew not reacting to the situation correctly.

Ryanair only operates 738s on this route. The plane was probably not older that three years.
