So as you may or may not have heard, I am the new Administrator Pro Tem of SkyGroup so I can implement what I believe are some much needed changes that will revive SkyGroup as the Alliance for Everyone and put an end to all of this bickering. This may come as a shock, but I think that all that is needed to revive all of the glory SkyGroup had is a kick in the pants to get something done.

As the new Head of SG I am announcing a few changes, all designed to open up skygroup, as well as give it a more professional and well run appearance:

1: Removal of all airline quality and in game rating requirements to be a member, effective immediately; Skygroup is the alliance for everyone, and should stay that way.

2: Immediate removal of all current branding/advertising claiming that SG is a quality alliance: It isn't, and never will be, nor should it be. SG is an alliance for people who want to put a community of people ahead of a community of airlines

3: Implementation of a new set of rules that put a friendly and welcoming community over the quality of member airlines

4: Adjustment of the new player help materials so that they advocate basic quality (Clean fleet, minimal use of Scam IFS unless needed to maintain profit, things like that) but do not require it

My plan is to Hopefully get everything implemented within the next few days, and once done hand the reigns back to QK.

Any questions about this new policy should be directed at me. Also, I would like to make clear that I am doing this without, and SG does not have, any relations with Excel Alliance.

This plan was approved of by the Admin Team and is currently in effect. All questions, comments, and concerns should be directed to Agre, as he will have the most up to date information on his plans.

Also, SkyGroup operations will continue as they are currently, new policies and requirements will be adapted in at a later point in time.

EDIT: Per request of Agre, SkyGroup will continue in-game operations as normal, however new policies will be implemented at a quicker pace.

Perhaps in 2010... but in present day, it's more exclusive than any other alliance I see (excepting WAA, which frankly looks like it was frozen in a glacier )

As others have said, it's hardly a concept at all.

At any rate, a lot of the stuff there is what I've blatantly been trying to tell SkyGroup for the past six months.
