Another trip out of memory lane....this time with the defunct airline Malev.

Flight details
MA 417/ AZ7538
B737-800

It was the august holiday in Italy, and finding anything open was a crusade. Still suffering from jet lag from my previous flight from New York i tried to roam the empty city in search for an electronic shop to help me with my camera problems. I just had half day as i later had to go to the airport to catch my flight to the Hungarian Capital. Miraculously problem solved as i hurried to catch my flight.
just a short line at check-in and in no time BP was held in my hands.

Now that i had time to wander around the airport i got glimpse of the oneworld charging station.
Posted Image
Too bad I didn't have anything to charge.
At the same time flight crew arrived an happily agreed to pose as models in my picture
Posted Image
not the Singapore girls that one expects but oneworld has a soft spot in my heart so i had to take a picture of the crew.
Boarding was smooth with no major delays.

upon entering the cabin i was horrified by the acid green and sea blue combination, this airlines needs a new interior designer.Too bad that it had to file for chapter 11. Posted Image
Take off from runway 35R and soon we were airbone.
Posted Image
inflight service was sort of poor Posted Image
but then i was too tired to care and dozed off. I just woke up upon arrival left, took my luggage and off into budapest.

Lufthansa trip report to follow.

And If we like to over do things, just imagine what is like to be our guest!

I just booked a flight to Budapest the other day and i suddenly remembered a trip report i had to post. This time i will be flying with budget carrier Ryanair. But here is my LH report.

Posted Image
going to the airport i spot this Ad....having flown Turkish Airlines just 5 days ago i was happy to see their ad. Good service and best catering.
Posted Image
Budapest's T2A schengen terminal.
Upon entering the terminal we found out it to be chaotic and 1 hr before the flight leaves we haven't checked in yet.
Posted Image
Luckily friends of mine arrived earlier at the airport and were already lining up
Posted Image
If check-in was chaotic, security was even more. So no pictures of that.
Upon passing security i spotted this Posted Image sadly no more MALEV.
As i reached the gate i spotted my bird it was a magnificent A319
Posted Image Bordkarte in hand and ready to board
The airplane was dedicated to Turin. The old Italian capital.
Posted Image
Take off and a glimpse of the danube
Posted Image
After take off on board service was started and for today's flight we had Focaccia with ham
Posted Image
tea and espresso were also served. Good service and professional crew. Unluckily like malev, Lufthansa italia ceased operation. I'm starting to think that i bring bad luck.

I will take quite a lot of flights in may so watch out for the next trip reports:

BGY-BUD Ryanair
LIN-FCO Alitalia
IST-NAV Turkish Airlines
ARS-IST Anadolu Jet
FCO-IST Alitalia

And hopefully also MXP-TLV-HKG with El Al
