Æ - Currently the one I visit the most but mostly for the community. The airline bit's pretty good, I guess.

Cyber Airlines - >:c is all I have to say for that monstrosity.

AirwaySim and that other paid one - not paying for airline stuff, not worth it

Airline Mogul - It felt so sloooooow. Not entertained at all with this one.

Airlines Manager 2 - It's in French but thanks to Google Chrome that's not really an issue. Has a lot of features and overall is the best airline game I've played... (sorry Yuxi!)

Airline Manager (the Facebook one) - Entertained for a while-ish.

myairline.it - Don't touch this one. It is scum.

Any new simulation games you tried? I searched "Airline Simulation" on Google, and I found this topic. I would like to revive it.  :D Airline Empires is the best simulation game I've tried. I was just searching for another game for me to burn time while waiting for aircraft deliveries.   XD

I tried Airline Mogul (bad!!) , AE (  ) and something else that just flopped! Yuxi has done really well on AE!

Cyber Airlines is where I am most active, because I enjoy keeping a single carrier in a single world which goes forever. That, and the RP/general Community is really great.

Otherwise, there's this, and aviosim where I am also active, but I've tried Airline Mogul otherwise, and it was ... meh.

I don't like Cyber Airlines because I want a pax game, not a cargo game.

Forgot why I quit Airline Mogul, most likely because selling aircraft encourages multi-account. But I like their definition of small world (i.e. major airports only) though.

As I've said before, please don't compare Cyber Airlines to the rest of the ones listed above. It is a totally different form of gameplay; although opinions of it certainly should be expressed.

Airline Mogul - this is where I started; still enjoy it. However, it was most fun when it was 2000-2500 players per round; private worlds, sadly, has reduced the fun of public worlds and the overall gameplay. The game's alliance functionality is fantastic; its maintenance formula is not.

Airway Sim - micromanagement hell; if you aren't one of the first players in a new world, you're basically hosed.

Cyber Airlines - having to constantly log in to end/initiate your flights is not fun; at least it has cargo
Who am I not to see this post?

Airline Creator - similar to Cyber Airlines; defunct
I agree on Cyber Airlines

My Virtual Flights - a game from a passenger perspective; you book flights and fly routes (using actual flights and times of real airlines), racking up frequent flier miles as well as points for flying different airlines and to different airports (you could actually win real prizes for finish first); sadly, the developer (who works for flyDubai) has disappeared and the schedules are horrifically outdated

Virtual Flights (Facebook) - like My Virtual Flights; uses the actual Star Alliance timetable; no rewards system; terrible user interface

Airline Empires - I really disliked the old version; this version is very enjoyable to play

AE- Rallying to get to a goal without using real time? Impossible.
AManager- Where I am most active; uses more comforts to get your airline running
AMogul- Not paying for it.
AirwaysS- Horrible flight timetable; liked it at first but then I realized that it was bad horrible.
AvioS- Same as AirwaysS, but more horrible.
AT Series Mobile- Still enjoy it, just like AManager.
AT Series Mobile Online- Same as above
CA- Liked it until that monstrosity blue alliance OneSky came. It was full of propaganda.

though I'm not about to go check. I am kind of wondering about how many of these other airline games still exist today, and what they might have turned in to.

TBH the best airline simulator out there is AirwaySim.

I came to Airline Empires after a few years at AirwaySim, and I will say that only PROS will fully understand AirwaySim.

AirwaySim is a ****storm of realistic features including but not limited to C and D checks and noise restrictions. I was struggling to maintain a 400 plane fleet even as an experienced player.

When I came here, I wowed myself by making a sucessful 8 thousand plane army on my first try.

If you have money, and find this game too easy, then you should deffinitly take it up a level to AirwaySim.
