Just to be clear...this is not a repeat post of http://www.airlineem...ad.php?tid=3263 ...that one was announcing the livery would be revealed today. This thread is an opinion poll about the new livery.
The new livery for the merged HP and US was unveiled today.
Personally i think it looks pretty good, except that i think the blue and red should have gone straight to the nose rather than curving down.
A sad thing is that Arizona, Nevada, Ohio, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Phoenix Suns liveries of HP might be gone

Actually, thats a nice livery.... The actually seemed to mix the white from HP and the red and blue from US and made a nice livery out of it....
Now, i wonder how long before we see that livery on the A330-300

It looks excellent in my opinion!!! I like the gray streaks after the wings, they look very ice as complement to the red blue and white. They also continue to the tail and cut it down to different blue tones.

It's better than the old one, but I still don't like it.

It reminds of the USA3000 livery. They could have come up with something better.

Pictures don't always tell the whole story...I don't think it looks great in the picture, but I'll have to wait til I see it in person before I really can pass judgment...I find that seeing new liveries in person often tells something of a different story than what a picture does...

None of you seem to realize that creativity in this regard is irrelevant. The positive PR the whole event and act of re-imaging generated is what is relevant.

Its hard to beleive that design firms get paid millions for their lack of creativity. I swear Ive seen this design before. Anyone meet my friend Leisure?

Actually nobody paid anybody millions for this. They created it in house. No consultants involved.
Again, creativity is irrelevant. I'd elaborate, but I think it'd go over the heads of some here.

If you compare it to the new Air Canada paint theme, its genius, but personnaly I don't like the tail.

They just need to fix the ugly tail.
