I might be missing something obvious so pls bear with me. Going through some a/c's history, I've seen some that were bought at a price and then sold at a higher one. Given that each sale has a commission on it and thus lowers the end price, how is that possible ? Or am I reading the history pane incorrectly ?
Thanks.

Aircraft prices can also be influenced by the used market - ie a larger number of used aircraft on it of the same type will lower the value of the aircraft

Evidently yes, "supply and demand" are always in effect.
But can you buy for example a used An-72 for $13,320,000 and sell it for $16,161,600, just because the market was out of An-72's at that moment ?
Unless there is an option if you own the a/c, to set your price at will.
Thanks for your reply.

Essentially, yes. Also, it is worth remembering that if you buy a large number of aircraft new, you get a discount from the manufacturer. Selling those on, you may find that the used market value is actually higher than what you paid due to the bulk order discount.
