Maestro is a fan of "coaching" people on price. He's sent me messages instructing me on routes just because they involve his "very large hub."

In the past 3 days, the only message i sent was to Blue 1 becuase of my A330s on routes, to get rid of Central Airlink... I was trying to excuse the A330s and tell him that soon the route would be profitable....
Yes, everyone flame me becuase i brought a cheat out into the open and yet, people are either blind or trying to throw the blame at me becuase of my hub at Madrid... I may have acted selfish, which i have done sometimes and i can admit to it. What i didnt expect is for people been so narrowed minded that they dont even what to know the cheats playing AE... Seems everyone is trying to act blind-folded in here and pretend their isnt cheats... Well, sorry to say, but their still are cheats in AE and they are all around us....
Now, it seems people are trying to lay blame on me when Central Airlink activated the Navy Bug on a route which i operate and i saw the bug active... I guess u should let him continue then by ur responses and let him get away with activating the bug on any route he wishes....

No, earlier in this thread you admitted to being angry because other carriers, like Central, wouldn't stop moving planes on and off of routes because it made your profits fluctuate.
I hardly call setting $200, or even $0, airfares cheating. This thread doesn't seem to be about the Navy Bug. It's you angry that Central Airlink, an airline quite a bit smaller and inferior to yours, "ruined" a route by setting a much lower price.

You find it stupid bc thats exactly what you do in Baltimore.

Find what stupid?
I don't find setting low prices stupid at all. If an airline is big enough to sustain those kinds of losses, or is able to sustain growth with low profit margins, good for it. If not, then it'll quickly be an airline no more.
And what are you talking about Baltimore? I barely fly to Baltimore, and it's low yield for me as I have to match Fred Air's prices. But, I stay in the market as market share is my goal at my two hubs.

The prices is a side issues in itself.... He came on those routes with all guns blazing charging like $0-$200, especially on long-haul. Now, i got him doing the same thing again becuase i asked a question and i get blasted by him for asking. Im not going to take his crap he sent me becuase he thinks i talk too much....
Im here to play this game and make friends and help others yet people like him make me get irritated....
And Finally... Central Airlink activated the bug on that route and on others which SA knows something about... I may have been angry to him for ruining routes as he was acting gun-ho about it at first, but im over it now and just wish for Central to be reset for his exploitation of the bug. Thats all.

I also must apologise, because I too thought Fredways ran Fred Air.
So tell us Fredways, what airline do you run?

I have been quietly watching what's going on in the forums and I have to say it's a bit disturbing. What was once a very fun game has deteriorated into something very like a war zone.
Miller has created a wonderful thing in AE, but also a monster. It seems that more and more of us are forgetting that it is, after all, just a freakin' game.
I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to throw a fit because someone has undercut me on a route and blown my profits. However, I have managed to stop and realize that maybe, just maybe, I might be mostly to blame for my own lack of profits.
It seems to me that if folks would spend less time complaining about what others do and take more time to run their airlines that the AE world would be a happier place.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that a lot of folks in the AE community have no idea how the world works. I understand that we have a lot of very young players here, some of whom show more maturity than some of the older folks by taking their losses as lessons learned and rolling on with the game.
If all we're going do is complain about the game, maybe it really is time for a reset so we can all once again be on a mostly level playing field.
