Well, I decided I'd go the hard way, so through lack of better options ORK - DUB is FR...

I'll assume its a 737-800, FR 9842

Then I'll be flying Delta to Huntsville, via Atlanta.

Delta 177 operated by a A330-300, should leave at 12:30 dublin time and get to ATL at 16:10...
Delta 5197 which is a CRJ900 (new type for me, whoopie) leaves ATL at 18:06 and gets me to HSV at 18:05... timezone's for the win. 5197 is a Delta Connection flight operated by Atlantic Southeast.

(When I last came back I went American Eagle HSV - ORD, BA ORD - LHR, EI LHR - ORK... My usual outbound involved EI ORK - London CO London - IAH and American from IAH - DFW and DFW-HSV (I like AA and CO :P)) so trying Delta is a new one for me.)

Oh coming back will probably be around the 28/29th Aug, so

Leaving HSV 9:20 for ATL, 11:21 arrival, DC-9-50, flight DL2355
Connecting to DL176 767 (300? or 400?) to Dublin, 21:35 departure, 10:30 arrival. So I'll get back on the 29th.

I believe the FR leg would be FR9847 but that leaves at 18:25 and tbh I could walk DUB-ORK in that time so I'll skip putting my kids through the "glorious" FR.

I do wish Aer Arrann would fly ORK - DUB :(

p.s. I am looking forward to the maddog :D

I liked TW and it's gone. NW, and it's gone. CO, and it's gone. Pray I don't like you.

ORK FTW! it might be cheaper (and more comfortable) to get the train from Cork to Dublin, just saying :P
