Tam/Latam Livery Evolution on the A319 - Poster

Here's a quick review of the livery history of this amazing airline from it's regional roots to the merging with Lan, becoming the largest airline in Latin America

The first two liveries were painted onto A319 (PR-MBW and PT-TMD) in 2010, to celebrate the company's 35 years in 2011; the third one is Tam Meridional's livery, a parent company created in 1998 to operate international routes when the first A330 arrived, together with the Fokker 100 and the A320 family, arrived in 1999; in the year 2000, Tam Meridional and Tam Regional merged forming Tam Airlines launching the fourth livery shown here, which later on was redisgned to a more Brazilian-colored livery, to give a more patriotic look to the major airline in the country, with "Proud to be Brazilian" written on the fuselage; in 2008, Tam joined Star Alliance, and to celebrate a new modern-looking livery was launched, the last glimpse of an airline that beat giants and became Brazil's best in just a few years; in 2012 Tam merged with Lan Chile to create the largest airline in Latin America, unveiling Latam's visual pattern in 2016.

Tam's livery can still be seen in Brazilian skies, but Latam Brazil has been facing financial problems for a few years now, and the Covid outbreak deepened the crisis; this year, the airline filled for bankruptcy and had a huge downsize in fleet and crew. The future is uncertain. So here's my tribute and hopes for the best

    thanks mate

    gonna fix that later ;)

LAN and TAM were two great airlines on their own. Once they merged, it all went downhill... (but it was still better than AerolĂneas Argentinas)
