Hermes Air | SAAB 340B+ | 2015-present

Founded in 2015, Hermes Air's goal was to improve connectivity within Greece. Tapping into the used market, the airline selected three 34-seater SAAB 340s retired from service in the US and Europe. Based in Athens, the airline has now grown to seven of the type, operating point-to-point flights within Greece, while offering free food and drinks on its short flights, as well as a free bag. The company has plans to add further SAAB 340s, and is considering the larger SAAB 2000 to further enhance its fleet. Starting May 2019, the airline will also begin flights in Cyprus, from Larnaca and Paphos to Greece and Israel, to fill in the gap left by the closure of Cobalt Air.

Thanks to N664US for making one of my favourite aircraft!

You can see that it's made in a hurry... But imo, it looks *nice*...

    Looks interesting.
I see no connection to Greece in this livery. It would work wonders for a charter airline though.

I mean, the man himself is from Greece so I’m guessing he has a decent idea on what to incorporate in a Greek livery.

    *cough* ...name...colours... *cough*

The colors would work anywhere though. Name is a connection but that’s besides the point.

I mean you don't have to have ancient Greek patterns or a pile of money on fire to show your airline is Greek. After all blue is the colour of the sea, which we have a bit of (basically the only reason people come to this place) and of our national flag as well. My plan wasn't to make this the national identity of Greece on a SAAB, but to just have some Greek elements on it. I know blue would work in other places as well, but it's still the most Greek colour out there.

Also I had pictured this something like Sky Express, which is a hybrid I guess? Also Greece had enough charters for a lifetime in the 90s and 00s and they all failed in like 7 seconds so..

Then you could say my Italaria can also work anywhere when you remove the name.

No, because it has distinctly Italian colors.

Red and green are also part UAE colours, and white and blue are indeed the main colours of Greece's flag...
