The ATR 42 was a familiar sight at Luqa, being Aeronetja Link's primary regional aircraft for use on lesser routes like Malta to Benghazi, Pantelleria, Sfax, Comiso, Lampedusa, Constantine, and others. Functioning as a connector to smaller communities linking to larger airports, they were soon retired in 2005 due to decreasing profitability concerning the growing demand to Malta, which the relatively smaller props would not be able to handle. Many of their routes would soon be taken over by the ERJ-175, which is largely considered to be the type's successor.
leave your thoughts and stuff, a negative comment is better than no comment
The livery looks really great, but why would an island-based airline such as Aeronetja retire the ATR-42 and replace it with the E195 - a much larger aircraft which, by the way, entered service much later than 2003 so could not have replaced it at the time...
Beautiful as always!!
Grazzi mate, glad to see you're liking these

To be frank with you, the story was rushed. It's around 1 AM right now where I am and I just wanted to get this out, which meant slacking on the lore behind the ATR.
I've revised the story a bit and I've started working on another livery to make this a bit more of a plausible scenario. Thanks for the feedback, though
Danke dude
