Hellenic A300B2 (70's scheme)

LEGACY LIVERY, REPLACED BY DC-10

The A300B2 was introduced into the Hellenic fleet in 1972 to serve higher density medium haul routes, lessening the strain on the CV880 and 990 fleet.
Capabitlies of the A300 series impressed Hellenic to where it ordered the A300B4, further expanding the route map and flying to further destinations, efficiently with two engines rather than 3 or 4. Hellenic continued operating the A300 series until 2011, where the final A300-600R was retired from service, the A310-300 following, being retired in 2012. Since the 70's, and up until the 00's, the A300 and A310 both formed the strong backbone for high-density regional Hellenic needed, until being replaced by the superior A330 and A320 series.
