Afrika Group Subsidiaries Liveries

In 2016, the Afrika Group was announced following the acquisition of Zimbabwe Airlines by South African carrier, Afrika. Formerly known as Nigerian Airways and Air Ethiopia respectively, Afrika Nigeria and Afrika Ethiopia became the two latest members to join the group. With a total to network size of more than 125 destinations and a fleet size of more than 75 aircraft, the combined group became the largest airline holding company in Africa.

South African carrier, Afrika, still remains the largest member of the group. With flights to six continents, Afrika has a huge worldwide presence and brand identity recognition. The airline's flagship aircraft, the Boeing 787-9, enabled the airline to expand its network to long-haul destinations in South America and Asia.

The second member, Afrika Zimbabwe, also formerly known as Zimbabwe Airlines, flights to over 15 destinations worldwide from its hub in Harare.

Formerly known as Nigerian Airways, Afrika Nigeria is the third subsidiary of the group. Afrika Nigeria operates flights from its hub in Lagos to destinations in Africa, Europe, Middle East and the United States.

The last member, also the second largest of the group is Afrika Ethiopia, formerly known as Air Ethiopia. Afrika Ethiopia has a wide network to destinations in Africa, Europe, Asia and the United States. It plays a huge role in the China-Africa market, with 6 destinations in China and over 20 in Africa.

Together, the four African airlines work together to dominate the African market. With a presence in South, Central and East Africa, the Afrika Group has become one of the most recognised African brands.

    Nice :D

HOLY SMOKES! My only thing is that there needs to be something immediately obvious that sets Zimbabwe and Ethiopia apart. This is down-right amazing otherwise!

    This is borderline genius.

Zimbabwe and Ethiopia are nearly identical.

Ethiopia needs like a black line going through the center of each leaf, or something different that incorporates black into the logo.
