Airbus A319

Morocco's extensive history with France has influenced Alaouite's fleet decisions. When Airbus began producing the A320 series, Alaouite invested heavily in them. The A319 would become very important in flights from Marrakesh as well as flights to Europe from Casablanca.

The A319 helped replace the 727 in Alaouite service and offers a larger alternative to the Avro RJ-85 and Embraer E-195. There are 30 A319s in service, with 18 operating from Marrakesh, 10 from Casablanca, and two operating from both bases.
