The Embraer 195 AR is the heart of Aeronetja's current fleet. It comes in the perfect size for most of the Maltese flag carrier's routes, serving places like Tunis, Larnaca, Bucharest, Luxembourg, and Gibraltar. Too small for major routes that are served by the larger A320s, but big enough that capacity and frequency can be balanced out, Aeronetja was the launch customer for the largest member of the ERJ family. Even today, they still operate the most of the type out of any airline in the world, and with high approval from both customers and crew, the ERJ-195AR will be the mainstay of the fleet for a long time to come.
