aeroantillean has been a Boeing-user since it's birth on 2003 and to show it's strong relationship with the aircraft manufacturer, aeroantillean has place an order 20 Boeing 737-800s to serve the Carribeans and some destinations in United States, with the help of a secured loan from the islantilles airline. The commitment of aeroantillean and Boeing has shock the France Manufacturer, Airbus, after the airlines was forced to cancel it's 20 Airbus A318s order due to "how expenisve it was comparing it to other competiting aircraft manufactures that is affordable and has a same or better service than A318s"

After the arrival of it's 737s, aeroantillean CEO has personally sent a thank you message to the CEO of islantilles airline for their help of aquiring the aircraft they needed, which in return will be paid back with 2.2% Interests.
