Here, is a Dash 8-Q300 in the colors of Coastal Carolina University, based halfway between Conway and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
CCU was founded in 1954 as a junior college and as an extension of the College of Charleston. In 1974, after years of growth, the school became a full 4-year institution. In 1993, Governor Carroll Campbell signed a bill into law, seperating CCU from the College of Charleston, making it fully autonomous.
Carolina Air Express is proud to bear the colors of the youngest university represented in the Carolina Air and Carolina Air Express fleets.
