Bombardier Q300CAE 1983-2005

Carolina Air Express likes to think sometimes it brought a piece of Canada to the Carolinas when it purchased the Dash 7 in 1976.

Carolina Air Express is proud to continue this new Carolina tradition with the Dash 8-Q300. Here pictured is the Q300 in the colors of Carolina Air Express, from 1983-2005

Carolina Air Express is the brand that Carolina Air's two regional subsidiaries are organized under:

1.) Crystal Coast Air, with headquarters at Jacksonville-Albert J Ellis Airport (OAJ). Crystal Coast Air serves North and South Carolina's coastal communities, such as New Bern, Jacksonville, Wilmington NC and Myrtle Beach and Charleston SC. CCA also serves select cities in Virginia and Georgia and provides additional services to the hubs of our Skyteam partners in the Northeastern United States, Georgia, and Florida direct from the aforementioned Airport. The airline consists currently of 5 Bombardier Dash 8-Q300. CCA's hub is Raleigh-Durham Int'l Airport, with a Focus City designation for Charleston International Airport.

2.) Piedmont Central Air, with headquarters at Asheville Regional Airport, serves Western and Central North and South Carolina.
