China Central Airlines 747-400 (2005-present) | B-8747

B-8747 was the first 747-400 delivered to China Central Airlines, arriving in 1994. The plane is now one of 28 747-400s in the fleet, and B-8747 can be most commonly found operating the Beijing - Shanghai Hongqiao route, or being used as a substitute plane on the Shanghai Hongqiao - Tokyo Haneda and Shanghai Hongqiao - Seoul Gimpo routes. All of China Central Airlines' 747-400s have a configuration of 9F80C334Y.

In 2007, China Central Airlines was named the Official Airline of the 2008 Summer Olympics, and as a result, a Beijing 2008 Olympics sticker was applied to most of the fleet. On the 747-400 fleet, this can be found at the front of the second deck.
